Social Investigations
or
Parenting Evaluations
Extensive and comprehensive
Social Investigations are comprehensive parenting evaluations that are defined by Florida law. They offer relevant data for a judge weighted with a permanent ruling for a family, but they can help parents arrive at a settlement without trial. Julia’s recommendations are practical and clear, carefully based on empirical research and weigh all 20 factors required for consideration under Florida Statute 61.13.
A social investigation is appropriate when there are multiple complex concerns that include parental alienation, serious mental illness, abuse, domestic violence or addiction.

A full social investigation may not be necessary in your situation. A Narrow-Scope Evaluation may give the clarity you need more quickly and at a lower cost. Each appointment order is uniquely crafted for a specific issue. Please have your attorney contact us prior to appointment.
